What We Look For

We are continually searching for exquisite examples of Black brides at their best. Fawn & Sable seeks to give beautiful Black women their spot in the bridal limelight. On our blog, quality, attention to detail and uniqueness are paramount.

If you have questions or need help uploading your images please shoot us an email at submissions@fawnandsable.com.

If we determine your event meets our criteria to publish, we may contact you for more information and/or more photos from your special moment. We MUST have your vendor list in order to feature your event.

Note that providing a complete submission does not guarantee a feature on the blog or our social media platforms. Fawn & Sable reserves the right to rescind a feature or submission at any step prior to publication for any reason we so choose without explanation.

At this time, we do not require exclusivity. This means that Fawn & Sable is glad to feature your event even if it has been previously published on another website, blog or magazine. We want to share the love and showcase more Black brides!

By submitting your photos to Fawn & Sable you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, and we adhere to our Privacy Policy with regards to your photos and personal information. We do not accept submissions without photographs.

Fawn & Sable is honored to receive a large amount of submissions. We do our best to respond to each submission, yet if you haven’t received a response from us within three months, please feel free to follow up at submissions@fawnandsable.com or info@fawnandsable.com.

Photo Requirements

Our expectation is that 30-50 high resolution (72 dpi or greater) professional photos be submitted with these parameters:

  • In a ZIP, Dropbox, Google Drive or iCloud file
  • No watermarks
  • Bride and groom must have photographer’s permission or own the rights to utilize/print/reproduce their photos
  • A mix of color and black & white photos is ideal
  • No collages
  • No photos from cell phones, social media sites, and digital cameras – photos must be professionally taken
  • Please avoid sending photos that have children in them. This is because of privacy concerns.

Types of Events We Feature

Real weddings from all over the world will get priority at Fawn & Sable, however we also will be publishing posts on the following:

  • Engagement photo shoots
  • Weddings (2018 – current)
  • Weddings (2015-2018 for our Vault collection)

*We are not interested in fictional or styled shoots at this time.

We gladly accept submissions from brides or grooms, professional photographers, event planners,  venues, stylists, mothers of the bride or groom, etc., with bride’s permission of course.
