When you think about compatibility, you think about two people who have just about everything in common and enjoy the same things. This perfectly describes Ashley and Tony. It all began when Tony mustered the courage to approach Ashley at a community service event they were both attending. The pair found out just how much they had in common, from growing up in the same neighborhood, to frequenting the same places in their hometown, to attending the same schools. Ashley and Tony seemed to be one-and-the-same. They became fast friends, speaking and video chatting multiple times daily. The couple moved in together only three months into their courtship and soon welcomed two puppies!

In January of 2020, Tony planned an elaborate proposal. First, he secured a venue and the décor. Next he enlisted the help of close friends and family to surprise Ashley, and made date-night plans to get Ashley dressed up and out on the town prior to popping the question. While dining with Ashley, Tony snuck away to call and check in with family members who were helping to decorate, only to find that the decorating was not quite finished. After dinner, Tony had to find ways to buy more time, including spending 30 minutes on an impromptu grocery store run. When given the go-ahead from family, the two arrived at the secret location. Ashley could hear the violinist playing her favorite song as soon as they arrived. She knew then what was happening. Ashley said yes to Tony while her family witnessed, including her siblings who flew in from both coasts and her 97-year-old grandmother who made the hour-long drive just to see the proposal. All of this truly surprised Ashley. Tony and his bride-to-be will be tying the knot on September 18, 2021 at Early Mountain Vineyard.
