Tenth grade homeroom was usually a place to catch up with friends, last minute cram or finish homework, scarf breakfast or squeeze in a cat nap before the bell rang. Breonna and Fabian spent their time in their sophomore high school homeroom flirting with one another, unknowingly planting seeds of love for their future together. Fabian swears he knew from the moment he saw Breonna that he would marry her. Their connection ended up blossoming into a lifelong commitment, even as the Georgia natives went through college. Afterwards, when it was time to pursue a career, Breonna’s path led her to the state of Maryland. Thankfully, Fabian, a graduate of Georgia State University, was obliged to join Breonna there. One January day, Fabian was prepared to take the ultimate step toward marriage, the step he had been waiting to take since the tenth grade. He orchestrated a perfect proposal that relied on the help of Breonna’s brother. His task was to convince Breonna to show up at Pier 5, a picturesque location along the Baltimore, MD harbor along with Fabian to help him retrieve a heavy package. Unbeknownst to Breonna, the package they were supposed to pick up was merely a ruse. Upon arriving at Pier 5, Breonna notices a beautifully arranged table adorned with flowers, champagne, and music. The couple seated there claimed to be celebrating their anniversary and asked Breonna and Fabian to take their photo. As soon as Breonna lifted the camera to snap their pic, Fabian was behind her, down on one knee with a ring. Cheering passersby cooed over the romantic moment. In mid August of 2022, Breonna and Fabian exchanged vows in an early evening ceremony. Breonna was accompanied down the aisle by her father, and another special detail was that Breonna and Fabian had their beloved uncle officiate the wedding. Young and old, all 80 guests joined in the festivities, creating an atmosphere filled with joy, love, and pure fun at their boho-rustic -with-a-touch-of-glam reception.
