After coming across one another on Tinder, Hailey and Kevin exchanged Snapchat handles and that’s where Kevin really began putting in the work to woo Hailey. It took months of pursuing before Hailey agreed to go out on an actual date with Kevin. Hailey, who possesses an undergraduate degree from Southeastern University, was in the midst of writing her graduate school thesis. School, not necessarily dating, was her focus at the time. Thankfully, she saved some time to get to know Kevin, who attended Northwestern State University, through a couple of dates. It only took two for the pair to realize they connected on many levels and became exclusive soon thereafter. Hailey graduated, and in March of 2020 took a job as a Marketing Consultant and Senior Communications Specialist at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, where the couple resides. Simultaneously, a worldwide pandemic began that shut everything down. Unknown to Hailey at the time, Kevin had been planning a proposal. His idea was to throw a family barbeque where he’d pop the question. But with the world shutting down, and not knowing when they’d be able to see family face-to-face again, he quickly shifted to plan B. While the Covid pandemic did rob Kevin of the chance to do something elaborate, he was too excited to wait. The opportunity of an intimate proposal came about, which Hailey was just as happy to receive. Wrapped in blankets, Hailey said yes to her beau while he knelt proposing in the middle of their small apartment.

The formal pictures speak more to Hailey’s personality: things like loving glamour, making a statement, and romanticism.
