Finding love by going to a bar has historically been a hit or miss endeavor. But finding love at a music festival has become the new “bar”. Generally romances that begin amongst the pulsing crowds and booming music are short lived, though thankfully this was not the case for Kathleen and Rodney. This was for real. Rodney was introduced to his future wife by mutual friends at a music festival in Philadelphia. One year to the day of when the couple met, Rodney proposed. For Kathleen’s birthday Rodney swept her off to Tulum, Mexico in the Riviera Maya region. The couple immediately began planning for a 2019 wedding in Houston, TX. The couple’s wedding was expertly executed by none other than D’ Concierge Weddings & Events. On a Southwestern-fall day in November that year, Kathleen, who is a poet, married her lifelong partner, Rodney after being escorted down the aisle by her older brother. Their 125 attendees enjoyed poetry that was recited throughout the event in the modern, simplistic but elegant venue the couple chose.
