Former pro cheerleader and bride to be shows off fiancé in Kansas City, Missouri engagement photoshoot
Real Engagements: Krystal & Clayton
Krystal and Clayton met at work through mutual co-worker friends. Clayton mustered the courage to ask Krystal, a former Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader, out on date and that’s all it took for both to see they were meant to be in a relationship. After a four years of dating, Clayton planned the proposal. It happened in Montreal, Canada. The pair are very much into culture, art, travel and good food, so naturally they went on a foodie excursion up north. After an evening of wining and dining on the town, Clayton purchased some sparkling wine, to which Krystal was a bit confused about, but quickly put out of her mind. Clayton snuck into the bathroom for a final rehearsal of his speech, while Krystal simply got comfy on the couch, turning on Law & Order SUV to unwind; it was clear she had no clue about what would soon happen. A moment later, Clayton was kneeling in front of Krystal with an engagement ring on full display, pouring out his heart via his thoughtful speech. Krystal immediately said yes!
Clayton and Krystal love to visit museums and wine bars, so they made sure to incorporate those locations in their engagement shoot. Tannin Wine Bar is their “home away from home,” according to Krystal. Although Krystal is originally a Texas gal who attended University of Richmond, she has come to make Kansas City her home. The two plan to wed in July of 2021 in Kansas City, MO.

As the proud mom of Krystal I am so looking forward to seeing my daughter walk down the isle to becoming the Mrs Krystal Anderson. I have watched her and Clayton grow together and I just love the way they are both so well rounded in life challenges. They already act like married couples so I look forward to them having a blissful future.
