Golden fields of sunflowers surround engaged couple in Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Real Engagements: Lydia & Tim
Lydia and Tim are two Michigan lovebirds who met while brunching one weekend at a restaurant called La Dolce Vita. The two found they were smitten by one another and began dating. It only took seven months of courtship for Tim, an electrical engineer, and Lydia to determine they were ready for marriage. Lydia, who graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, happened to be very attracted to the city of Denver, CO, and Tim knew this. He used that knowledge and build his proposal plan around it. Tim, who got his degree from Western University in Canada, surprised his sweetheart with a trip to Denver for the engagement. On their way back to Michigan, Tim had the both of them get dressed up to go on a detour for brunch, at the same place where they met, to pop the question. The pair became fiancés that day.
For their engagement shoot, Lydia wanted to be in Colorado and was inspired by the liberation of being outdoors, amongst beautiful sunflowers and sunlight, as well as the fairy-tale dream of being at a castle. Come May 29, 2020, Lydia and Tim will indeed be living “la dolce vita”, the sweet life, when they tie the knot at Black Barn Vineyard and Winery in Rives Junction, MI.
