Real Wedding: Misha & Ronald
Mothers seem to make the best matchmakers. Misha, an attorney, and Ronald, a pharmacy student, were set up by their own mothers, who are now happily related-in-love due to their children having wed one another. Yet, just as endearing as the way the pair met is their grandiose proposal story. It begins in October of 2019. Ronald, a graduate of Xavier University, knew he wanted to propose around the time of Halloween. It seemed only right that Ronald propose via a “Murder Mystery Dinner Party.” Though, going an extra step, he recruited four of Misha’s besties to help bring the elaborate scheme to fruition. The friends were fully committed, and they even hooked Misha into the plot – the four of them were to plan and host this murder mystery party at Misha and Ronald’s own home. They would get dressed up to the nines, play their parts and Misha was to decorate the house for the party. Due to being involved, Misha, who attended Arizona State University for undergrad and Loyola University New Orleans for law school, truly had no clue what the underlying meaning for this event would be. The friends even managed to whisk her off on the days prior to ensure her nails were freshly manicured for a proposal, which was Ronald’s key request. That night guests arrived and each played a part in the mystery. As the lights went off, if someone was touched, they were to lie on the ground and die. As the game was designed, Misha and Ronald were the last two standing. But just as Misha was prepared to play the part of a dramatic death, her girlfriends blindfolded her, pulling her into a different room where candles were lit and cameras began flashing. She assumed this was part of the mystery. As the blindfold was removed, Misha was shocked to see Ronald before her on one knee, proposing. Both cried tears of joy as applause erupted, and finally Misha called out “but who was the killer?” The couple carried on their sultry, romantic vibes into their wedding, where the popular couple had over 250 guests in attendance, despite Hurricane Ida and Covid causing many last minute changes for the wedding. Misha was escorted down the aisle by her father. Misha’s attendants wore custom gowns made by her grandmother, and the whole congregation swag surfed so hard Misha ripped her dress. It’s no mystery that their wedding is one guests will continue to rave about for years to come.
