Monochromatic neutral wedding for trendy couple at Verona Villa in Frisco, Texas

Real Weddings: Paige & Taylor

As high schoolers coming of age in the age of Twitter, Paige and Taylor met one another at party during their senior year. Each of them ogled the other from across the room, and the next day both were brave enough to strike up conversation over Twitter. Paige and Taylor became an item. Both attended the University of North Texas getting their undergraduate degrees. Paige became a recruiter post undergrad, while Taylor currently attends law school at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Knowing he had a catch, Taylor knew he wanted to take their relationship to the next level. He planned an elaborate day date beginning with brunch and then escorted Paige over to the Dallas Arboretum for a stroll around the lush and picturesque park. As they walked around, Taylor began pulling notecards out of his pockets, written with reasons why he loved Paige. The final notecard read: “I love you because I want to spend the rest of my life with you” and upon saying it aloud he knelt down on one knee and proposed. Immediately following the proposal, Taylor whisked his fiancé off to a surprise engagement luncheon where family and friends were waiting to celebrate. During their trendy, monochromatic nuptials, some of the sweetest moments were when Paige’s father walked her down the aisle while a harpist played, and the couple’s private last dance. The couple wanted to ensure their wedding set the bar high in style, but more than anything that it was fun and memorable for years to come. “The reception really felt like prom 2.0,” Paige said of the celebration. “We partied with friends and family until it was time to shut everything down.”
