When Romel played a role in introducing two of his friends to one another – and they subsequently went on to get married – they later returned the favor by introducing Romel to a beautiful woman named Ria. The love chain reaction that was created by that paying-it-forward mentality made for a heartwarming tale of two entrepreneurs. Ria and Romel. Ria, who attended Bowie State University and Romel, a graduate of Frostburg State University, hit it off right away.

After dating for some time, Romel knew he wanted to ask Ria the most important question of his life so far. For his proposal plan, Romel told Ria to get dressed up saying they would be going to a private screening of the new Elvis movie. Expecting a delightful movie screening, Ria arrived at the theater, her heart brimming with anticipation. But as the doors swung open, her eyes widened in astonishment. Instead of a cinema, she found herself standing in front of a beautiful stage adorned with flowers and candles. The sound of mellifluous violin notes floated through the air. Romel had orchestrated a grand surprise to propose even inviting family and friends to witness this extraordinary moment. It was in that instant that the bride realized she was about to embark on a lifelong journey with the love of her life.

Ria and Romel’s engagement shoot was captured under the lights of Las Vegas, Nevada, in January of 2023. The couple is planning a destination wedding on April 28, 2024 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
