Red, black and bling vintage styled winter wedding in Georgia
From the Vault: Teaa & Corey
A funeral doesn’t always have to be a sad event. Not when you happen to meet the person who will become your spouse during it, as Teaa and Corey did. The pair bonded over many things, including their love for the Atlanta Falcons football team. Corey was gripped by Teaa’s ambition among other things and Teaa, who is a human resources director, was blown away by Corey’s love of Christ and teaching the word of God. Corey knew he had found a catch and to ensure that she remain his for life, Corey, a retired Army paratrooper, proposed to Teaa. The couple had friends and family over to watch the Falcons play in the 2017 NFL Superbowl. While their favorite team wasn’t winning, Teaa felt like she was because in front of their guests, Corey gave a speech during the fourth quarter and dropped to one knee. So besides red being Teaa’s favorite color, the Falcons colors made sense for the couple’s nuptials. They even had a groom’s cake featuring the team logo. But Teaa wanted a classic and glamorous mood in addition. She accomplished this by choosing tried-and-true touches such as tuxes that were white with black piping, an old Hollywood glamour style hair style and rhinestone hair clip, and a vintage limo to transport them. The floral arrangements were packed into red or white rose orbs atop silver candelabras and all décor was neatly buttoned up and displayed with a touch of bling. Everything came together seamlessly so that 125 people could witness the duo become united in marriage at their ceremony, which incorporated several bridesmaids and groomsmen, as well as the couple’s children who were becoming a blended family as part of Teaa and Corey’s union.
