North Carolina A&T alumni take uptown Charlotte for classy engagement photos

Real Engagements: Tenille & Corey

Tenille and Corey share a love and loyalty for their alma mater North Carolina A&T University. In fact, they love their city and state so much, they knew they wanted to show it off in their sweet engagement shoot. Tenille is a Commercial Mortgage Processing Manager, and Corey is a Design Engineer, and they met on tinder. The pair dated for nearly two years before Corey made the biggest ask of his life. It was July of 2020, and Corey had swept Tenille off on a mini-vacation to the beach town of Wilmington, NC. On that final night of their relaxing get-away, Corey led his future bride down to the shore for a dusky stroll on Carolina Beach. While star gazing, Tenille had not noticed that Corey was no longer admiring the starry night, but was kneeling with a ring in hand. She looked down, and was elated to see her beau was proposing to her, in the splendor of that starry night. Her answer was a resounding yes.

For their engagement shoot, because both are fans of the uptown vibe that their home of Charlotte, NC has to offer, they chose to take photos there. The couple tied the knot in August of 2021 at The Omni Hotel in downtown Charlotte.
