Real Weddings: Alenna & Jordan

Fawn & Sable showcased Alenna and Jordan’s charming yet sleek engagement photo shoot here on the blog Real Engagements: Alenna & Jordan. Alenna and Jordan are both dentists and college sweethearts, having begun their love journey at the University of Maryland College Park for undergrad. We saw how well their engagement shoot turned out, so we had a haunch their wedding was going to be just as ogle-worthy. We were right. Alenna and Jordan married in the spring of 2021 at an Italianate villa that is a dual event space and AirBnB. Due to Covid precautions, the couple opted to host a Tuscan winery-themed microwedding for 40 of their dearest friends and family. Alenna was escorted down the flower-flanked aisle by her step father and the couple was married by Alenna’s former high school teacher as the officiant. The pair made a lesser-common choice of having a brunch reception. Their guests noshed on a delicious brunch menu, and later, were provided with charcuterie boards to snack on. Alenna and Jordan kept the Lamarca prosecco and wine flowing, in line with their Tuscan winery vibe and recruited the talents of one of their groomsmen for the wine selections, as he is an actual sommelier. And despite the wedding being midday, and the forecast projecting thunderstorms, guests and the newlyweds had no trouble dancing and socializing until the sun went down. Many of their guests took off their shoes and frolicking around the grassy property on that sunny day that thankfully had no trace of rain. “Everyone there told me how freeing it felt to be outside and just enjoying the moment,” Alenna recalls. “The best part was partying in the grass with my shoes off. I felt like a kid again without a care in the world.”
