College sweethearts have classic, elegant wedding filled with lush greenery at the Orlando Museum of Art in Florida

Real Weddings: Christin & Jonathan

By Mae Wagner

When Christin and Jonathan met on the first day of their freshman year at Florida A&M University, the chemistry instantly flowed. Funnily enough, they were in actual chemistry class. Christin asked Jonathan to join her and some friends for dinner, and soon after, their nearly decade-long relationship blossomed. We first wrote about their engagement here. Catching back up with the handsome couple, Jonathan is currently a vendor relations manager for AT&T, and Christin is now a pharmacist within the veterinary field. We are reminded of the time when  Jonathan was ready to pop the question. He planned a trip to France, and while in Paris, Jonathan took Christin on a dinner cruise to the Champs-Élysées on New Year’s Eve. It was the perfect place for a proposal — memorable and romantic but not cliché. During the midnight countdown, Jonathan got down on bended knee, and Christin promised her heart to him for all eternity. The couple wed in Orlando, FL in December of 2021 at the Orlando Museum of Art. Christin and Jonathan arrived at their reception in a white Bentley, and during their first dance, smoke machines made it so the couple looked as if they were dancing on clouds. It was a truly heavenly night that they will remember forever.
